“COME SEE CIARA ... LET’S TALK FACE TO FACE”

I’ll be debating my opponent but I’m really talking to you. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to tell you what I’m all about. I’m passionate, a solid journalist, an experienced leader, I love NABJ, and I’m working for you.

You’ve got questions about the budget?

I’m accountable; I’ve got answers and solutions that are already in play. We are ahead of the game in fundraising this year and our bills are current to date. Instead of a visiting bookkeeper, we hired a full time finance manager. The result; expenses are down and revenue is up.

You want evidence that advocacy is still a major focus of NABJ?

I don’t have to tell you what I’m going to do, I’ve done it!
I’ve talked to industry leaders, negotiated and have numbers to show some improvements in the number of hires among the reporting ranks and management level as well as the expansion of NABJ participation in internship programs. I want to do much, much more.

I promised a NABJ Job Fair report card, I delivered and used that information to match recruiters and job seekers. Now I’d like to take it to the next level and provide you with job listings before you get to the convention.

My vision sets a higher profile for NABJ. An organization that is seen, heard, quoted, everyday on all things journalism.

My plan would enhance revenue, relevance, and responsibility.

I’m Barbara Ciara, candidate for president NABJ. My record speaks for itself, but I’d like to speak to you!

Barbara's mindless infantile racist bigotry of whining lies about the NY Post's cartoon of a chimp and the bogus stimulus highway robbery sadly irrefutably proves the truth of the stereotype, seen in the many evil bigoted threats against the Post by stupid deranged obamanation (www.obamanation.org) whores resembling Nazis, no matter how hard those of us who oppose such discrimination try to reverse matters. If such people want to put the stereotype to rest they'll have to begin acting like adults instead of proving its validity by things like her stupid incompetence of the victimization mentality and actions; no danger there. I feel sorry for exemplary models like Justice Thomas that he has to endure such disgusting attitudes as she portrays, another of countless mindless obamanation whores hating and opposing everything Republican Dr. King stood for as she drools over the cold blooded obamanation Klan Parenthood butchering of countless helpless dark babies sonograms show vainly trying to flee the abortionists that will wipe out half of the unborn darks this year as she gets paid filthy blood money to sell out and butcher her own people at Klan Parenthood far worse than the Nazis ever did to the Jews (www.blackgenocide.org). Death is too good for them; they should have to live and face their crimes. May God save them from their lives of evil that make the KKK look virtuous.

Proof that race and racism are lies of antichristian bigotry now running this land, including Barbara's promotion of it:

Dear Barbara, I appreciated your comments on the obnoxious chimp cartoon!
But please in the future reconsider your reference to the President of the United States as "commander-in-chief." A president surely is commander of all our armed forces, but that is ALL he is commander of. During the Bush years, this journalistic tendency to militarize every aspect of the President was encouraged. Fortunately, we are still a democracy! As a civilian, I'm proud to call Barack Obama my President–in fact, I campaigned door-to-door for him. But I don't wear a uniform, and he is not MY commander. He commands troops–not civilians.
Please urge your journalist colleagues also to be careful of their language. We should not feed the mentality that a President's highest role is directing the Armed Forces–that IS one role–but always the most regrettable.
